Cry, croak, creak, aspirate, glide, glottal… there are lots of ways to ‘decorate’ your onsets and sound for effect, variety and expression.

For the more advanced singer, with a firm foundation in supporting and singing free of strain, this masterclass is a fun, informative Aladdin’s cave of expressive tools. These tools can be applied in every genre of contemporary singing – jazz, folk, pop, indie, rock and more – at the artistic discretion of the singer.
