As soon as you’re ready\, you can jump over to the main rehearsal. \nThe Igloo Band is a very fun and friendly group\, and we play at community and charity events around the south all year round. \nThere is a taster session on 6th April. DESCRIPTION:This is a group for adult learners who have tinkered with a bit of ukulele\, guitar or singing and would like to get together in an informal fashion to play with others with the view to improving on their instrument. \nThese sessions will feel like jam sessions\, but supervised by an experienced tutor who can share hints\, tips and advice as we go along.\n“Being in a group makes you play through your mistakes and spend less time on things you’ve done wrong” Jolyn\nBy playing with other people\, individual players improve their sense of timing\, widen their chord knowledge\, and share in the joy of making music with other people.\nThese sessions are focused on learning through playing songs\, rather than formal class structure.\nAll music will be supplied. Suitable for improver level and above.\nMembership to this group will be £25 a month in the future\, however this taster session is offered at £12.50 to see if you like it!

DESCRIPTION:The Igloo Training Band is a group for adult guitar/ukulele players at improver level or above. It’s not suitable for complete beginners\, but a great next step if you’ve had 6 or more 1:1s\, or taken one of our beginner courses. \nThe aim of this group is to teach you what you need to know to be able to join the Igloo Band proper as quickly as possible. These sessions will go at a slower rate\, you’ll be able to ask questions\, break it down more and take it at your pace. It will run between May-September this year\, and you can stay in the group as long as you need. As soon as you’re ready\, you can jump over to the main rehearsal. \nThe Igloo Band is a very fun and friendly group\, and we play at community and charity events around the south all year round. \nThere is a taster session on 6th April. If you would like to give it a try. Taster session is £12.50 while the band itself is £25 per month
