“The whole Igloo network made me feel welcome..” Heidi, Mum of two..

“I have been having lessons with Dielle through Igloo music for the past 2 and a half years and it has been such a positive experience and for me a life changing one at that. I have always loved music and had a passion for it but kept thinking I had left it to late to do anything about it. Then about 3 years ago I decided it was never too late and started to learn the guitar, but found I wanted to learn to accompany myself on it too, which was when I started singing lessons with Dielle.

From day one Igloo has been such a friendly and fun place to be and the whole Igloo network made me feel so welcome and relaxed. I was soon performing a duet which then led to a first performance on my own with my guitar at Havant Arts Centre and this gave me an amazing sense of accomplishment. Since then I have gone on to perform at jam nights, open mic nights, written some of my own material and more recently this year I have supported bands and joined a band with a group of friends. We have performed on stage at charity events and pubs and I am loving every minute.

Igloo has opened so many doors for me and given me the confidence to do so much more than I ever expected. I have made some great new friends who share the same love for music and I am just enjoying all these new experiences with the support from Dielle and fellow Iglooers.

Thanks so much as always for everything, your lessons really have given me the drive and confidence to do so many things I never imagined and I love being part of Igloo, even though I am not as frequent as some people I still feel part of the team and really enjoy it!”
