Never picked up a ukulele, we were amazed!

“We had a wonderfully satisfying musical experience in July, strumming away on Ukuleles at Igloo Music’s 2-hour workshop.

Tucked away in the beautiful Hampshire countryside in Wickham are the inspirational Igloo Studios where you can learn a variety of instruments as well as enhancing your musical knowledge. With Igloo, you can learn to play the ukulele, guitar, drums, piano & keyboard, learn how to write songs, attend their music theory sessions, as well as record in their industry standard recording studio.

The ukulele workshop was run by Dielle, the MD for Igloo Music, a singer-songwriter as well as a passionate music coach. With her musical knowledge and experience she tailored the lesson to all abilities from the eager beginners right through to the experienced players.

Having not played or even picked up a ukulele previously, we were amazed at just how straight forward this rewarding instrument is to learn. By the end of the session everyone was able to play a simple fun piece in a round. It was an entertaining workshop with great atmosphere. Everyone left with a feeling of accomplishment and success.”
