Based in Wickham, The Igloo Choir is a welcoming group for adults who simply love to sing. No auditions, no pressure — just a shared passion for music and a desire to be part of something joyful and uplifting, where you can grow and learn ‘on the job’.
More Than Just a Choir
At the heart of The Igloo Choir is a clear and exciting purpose: to work together as a team on the quality of our group sound, creating performances, recordings, and even music videos.
This isn’t about standing at the back and blending in — it’s about being part of a collective where every voice counts. Each member contributes to the sound, the ideas, and the creative projects of the group.
We sing acoustic pop-style songs, including original material we write together, alongside well-loved classics. Rehearsals are collaborative, creative, and full of energy — often with a few laughs (and sometimes cake!) along the way.
A Place to Belong
For many members, joining The Igloo Choir is about more than singing. It’s about finding a space to relax, connect, and be yourself.

From the very first rehearsal, there’s a strong sense of community and support. New members are welcomed in, guided, and encouraged — no matter their experience.

The choir regularly performs at community and charity events across Hampshire and West Sussex, bringing their uplifting sound (and colourful stage outfits!) to audiences of all kinds. These performances are a chance to share the joy of singing and connect with the wider community.
