Ukulele Fun for Portchester Residents

Igloo Music UK are expanding their Ukulele group offering adults in the Portchester area; a fun and friendly music class of their own, the beginners group will be launching on January 12^th at the Castle Centre, Portchester, starting at 1pm-2.30pm with the first session free.

The Ukulele group located in Hayling Island has had a great turn out each week and such positive feedback from members; Igloo member Peter Chinn said ‘I have met lots of lovely people, a few in particular. Igloo Music has a great approach to teaching. So patient and you’re not ridiculed in any way. There’s a great atmosphere, all I have to do is give a little ‘look’ if I’m not sure and they’re there to help.’

All members have had an amazing experience, having played for the Deputy Mayor of Havant within the first few months of learning the instrument. Lots of new friendships have been made bringing the residents of the island together.

Igloo Music offers a chance to meet new people, make friends and play a fantastic musical instrument in a relaxed yet inspirational environment.

Absolutely no previous ukulele or music reading experience is needed, just a little enthusiasm and readiness to come and try something different is all you need.
